This is before class began.
After my last hospital stay that brought me back to complete weakness, I swore to myself that I would start to take control of my body again.
I use to love (maybe like, but boy it builds strength) YAS, which is yoga and spin. Today, with the support of my husband by my side I returned to class. I could fake out the spin part, resting on my bike while the pedals spun my legs, but yoga was another story. At one point I had a cramp so bad I almost screamed out, “call a medic”!
But I survived class and realized our bodies really are a miracle and I’m going to start appreciating mine again.
This week I plan on expanding my wardrobe to include stretchy black pants.
